The company “Mizan Line”, which produces undergarments and sleepwear, is replacing the use of fossil fuels in its plant in Sjenica with a solar power plant and a water-to-air heat pump. Two sources of renewable energy enable sustainability of the business operations of this company, which is of immense importance for the Sjenica region and predominantly employs women. This contributes to the reduction of the energy intensity of the economy and the dependence on energy imports. Within its corporate social responsibility activities, the company helped two households by replacing woodwork and individual fireplaces with environmentally friendly firewood, making them more energy efficient and contributing to the reduction of energy poverty.
