This nature-based solution involves the use of extensive sheep grazing to revitalize the Spasovina pasture within the SRP Kraljevac. Thanks to this initiative, Kraljevac is revieving 30 sheep, an electric sheepfold, and a shepherd’s house equipped with solar panels and video equipment. Additionally, afforestation with 2,000 seedlings of oak, white poplar, and willow will contribute to habitat connectivity for endangered species in the protected area. This solution will contribute to improving habitat conditions for several species, including the European ground squirrel and various bird species.
