As part of this initiative, the first solar power plant was installed in a residential complex in Serbia. A total of 149 photovoltaic panels with a total output of 74.5 kW were installed on the roofs of three residential buildings in Niš, as well as three charging stations for electric vehicles with four charging points, each with an output of 22 kW. This mini solar power plant is connected to the grid as a consumer/producer of energy (“prosumer”). The projected annual production of the solar power plant is around 73 MWh, which fully covers the needs for electricity consumption in this residential community.
