The Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences has cooperated with “PR Amelles” on the development and application of green material synthesis technologies for the purpose of manufacturing new cosmetic products: natural sunscreen (with mineral hydroxyapatite) and a face mask (based on bio-cellulose with hydroxyapatite) that are biodegradable and environmentally friendly. The precise procedure of simple synthesis of all these ingredients into a final product was conceived through the project, which has contributed to creating new and enhancing existing cosmetic products. The plan is to test the final products, manufacture them and certify for potential market placement.
