The goal of this solution was to improve the protection of European Ground Squirrel (Spermophilus citellus) habitats and the return of the critically endangered breeding population of Eastern Imperial Eagle (Aquila heliaca) to the territory of Fruška Gora. It included a development of a study on European Ground Squirrel habitats and protection measures and development of a socio-economic study on the views of the local population regarding pastures and nature protection, two one-day pasture cleaning actions and raising awareness of the local population on the importance of pastures for biodiversity.
