“Kayak House” manufactures and sells catamarans, motorboats, and kayaks. The solution envisages the construction of a solar catamaran for navigation on Serbian rivers and lakes, especially in areas where boats with internal combustion engines are prohibited, which contributes to the development of eco-tourism. Promotional tours and workshops were organized for children with special needs and children without parental care, where they learnt about catamaran production, renewable energy sources and environmental protection.

Belgrade, November 14, 2023 – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ministry of Environmental Protection, and Ministry of Mining and Energy have chosen 12 of the most mature business solutions for just green transformation of the economy and reduction of energy poverty, which will be implemented thanks to the financial support of the Government of Japan in the amount of 450,000 dollars.
Belgrade, 17 March 2022 – On the occasion of the Global Recycling Day celebrated on 18 March, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with the support by the Global Environment Fund (GEF), have rewarded the authors of the best innovations in further development of circular economy in Serbia. The awards have been received by private and public enterprises and civil society organisations. Their innovations would contribute to decreasing the emission of the greenhouse gases and production of waste, as well as to preservation of natural resources.
