This initiative collects pieces of wood from the sediments of the Sava River and uses it for the production of fitness equipment. They assembled and installed 12 exercising devices that make the eco-gym in the city park next to the lake in Vršac. In this way, the amount of wood waste that accumulates on the banks of the Sava River and its negative impact on water, air and soil was reduced. The life cycle of the saved wood is extended through reuse, natural resources are preserved as no trees are cut down, while the carbon footprint of building an outdoor gym is reduced compared to the alternative production of steel fitness equipment.
