The solution of the regional landfill in Subotica aims to improve waste management practises, increase energy efficiency, and reduce industrial emissions. The solution includes the installation of a solar power plant and two air-to-water heat pumps to provide electricity and thermal energy for the operation of the waste management plant. By using renewable energy, the company will significantly reduce its dependence on electricity from the public grid and its carbon footprint.
