The project aims to modernize the public lighting system in the Municipality of Medveđa through the installation of 179 new lighting units. It is aligned with the Local Circular Economy Roadmap of the Municipality of Medveđa for the period 2024–2029 and contributes to the green and digital transition of municipal infrastructure.

The project includes the procurement and installation of new energy-efficient LED and solar-powered lighting systems at locations of particular importance to the local community. The selection of these locations is based on an analysis of the existing public lighting system, the priorities of the local self-government, and the needs of more than 6,400 residents. In this way, the investment ensures a direct and visible positive impact on the quality of life and supports the development of the local tourism offer.

The proposed solution directly contributes to reducing electricity consumption, lowering CO₂ emissions, extending infrastructure lifespan, and introducing circular economy principles into public lighting management. At the same time, it enhances the safety and security of both residents and tourists.
