SECURE FUTURE FOR THREATENED FALCONS

Society for the Protection and Research of Birds of Serbia

This solution aims to conserve the saker falcon (Falco cherrug) and the red-footed falcon (Falco vespertinus) in the Rusanda Nature Park. This solution addresses threats such as habitat loss and lack of nesting sites. It includes measures such as the installation of artificial nests and raising public awareness of the need to protect these birds. It also involves organising workshops with the local community on sustainable practices and the reduction of pesticide use to promote coexistence and contribution to the overall biodiversity goals.
