The Fruška Gora National Park will revitalise the wetlands on the banks of the Danube. These wetlands are home to various species of fish and amphibians, many of which are threatened by invasive species and the consequences of weather disasters. The solution is to remove the invasive vegetation in the Poloj-Beočinski Rit area and then explore the possible use of this vegetation as livestock feed. At the same time, the mapping and monitoring of invasive species in Begečka Jama is planned. Finally, other activities are also planned to involve the local community in the restoration of wetlands.
