Green Production of Windows and Doors

Bobi Stef, a family-owned company founded in 1994, specializes in the production and installation of custom wooden, aluminum (ALU), and PVC joinery. The company plans to double its production capacity over the next seven years – from 2,000 to 4,000 units annually – by building a new facility and introducing environmentally advanced technologies. Their project focuses on transitioning to more sustainable energy sources and increasing energy efficiency in production. Waste wood generated during the process will be used as fuel in a biomass boiler, controlled by an innovative software system. For office heating and cooling, they will use heat pumps that remain efficient and reliable even at low temperatures. A ventilation system with heat recovery will be installed to save energy and improve working conditions, along with energy-efficient equipment for production processes that provides compressed air needed for machine operation and product transport. The project contributes to reduction of CO₂ emissions by several thousand tons annually, while also delivering social benefits such as creating ten new job positions and offering additional placements for students in dual education programs.
