The goal of the project is to develop an integrated “Energy Cube” system for zero-emission heating, cooling, electricity generation, and energy storage, utilizing solar energy, a heat pump, hydrogen storage, and a fuel cell. The system reduces material consumption and environmental impact through automation and solar tracking technology.

The innovation is currently at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3, demonstrates high efficiency, and its further development includes hydrogen integration for operation under extreme winter conditions, with testing planned at TRL 4. Commercialization projections estimate a return on investment within approximately five years.

Alfa Klima plans to manufacture the system, while demand has been identified in the construction, agriculture, and residential sectors. The prototype is intended to be deployed through a rental and “shared economy” model.
