In the Municipality of Bujanovac, outdated heating systems are being replaced in three public facilities – the preschool institution “Naša radost” and health centres in Klenik and Veliki Trnovac. Heating systems using fuel oil, wood, and coal are being replaced with modern pellet-based systems that are more energy efficient and generate less air pollution. At the “Naša radost” kindergarten, the fuel oil boiler and fuel tanks are being removed, increasing the safety of the facility, while in the health centres old solid-fuel stoves are being replaced with new heating systems. This contributes to reducing harmful emissions, improving air quality, and creating a healthier environment for children, patients, and employees in the local community, as well as to the implementation of local and national air protection plans.
